It's time to say goodbye to the last year 2018. May be it is bit challenging for someone, may be it was a time to face failure but still it has taught a lot, it was another lesson of our life, it was another page of a story of our life.

Learning lessons from our mistakes, being hopeful, being full of energy and positivity, looking forward another year is ready spreading it arms to welcome you, to greet you, to make you reach on the top of the ladder of success.

Jackie - My Brother's family member

Jackie my Brother's family member-

It's very interesting to share about my brother's family member. I am talking about Jackie.

Jackie not only takes care of my brother's home, he plays with his family also.


He helps in some household work also.


You will be surprised to see this video. I also surprised to see when my brother sent it to me. It's really wonderful to see Jackie peeling off coconut.

Naughty Jackie

Jackie is helping peeling coconut off. Sometimes he is trying to snatch it from my bro's daughter for which she is warning and asking not to do so.

Jackie is really very naughty and playful.

Being family member he is helping some or the other way.

He is following all the instructions given by family members. All of them loves him .

Creativity Vs necessity

Every coin has two faces or sides.

What made me stop at this stall?

Yesterday in the evening I went to a holy place. It was located in a market and because of 'Dussehra' , which is one of the great festivals in India there was too much crowd in that area.


Now the picture I am going to share will make you think the 'necessity' of life, the 'priority' of life and the ''reality' of life.

These are some fruits and vegetables made up of clay. It looks like real one

The way whoever has made is really remarkable and appreciable.

The matter is not about the clay fruits and vegetables or the creativity of a pottery maker but the matter is the children who were selling it at that corner with insufficient light.  One can clearly see the 'display' of the products. It's a newspaper spread on a table on which these two small children have arranged these things properly. 

It made me upset to see when thousands of people are enjoying 'Dussehra' and people use to see 'Ravan Dahan'( Burning Ravan effigies as a victory of good over evil) these small children were waiting for the customers to buy these things.

When I asked the cost of it, the girl said ₹10 each, while a boy said  two for ₹15.

I took permission to take  pics and both of them agreed.

I observed that both of them are not happy.

 Why? Who can answer this question?

• Money problem?
• Feeling sad for not celebrating the festival? 
• What else?

After coming back at home several thoughts were striking in my mind.

Potpourri's fragrance

Spread  fragrance around.

A memorable trip which has enhanced one of the corners in my home.

My potpourri room freshener reminds me my daughter's Nainital trip.

When she has started dreaming of a trip, it was not decided what she will bring at home while coming back.

It was surprising she brought a few candles and two variants of potpourri, vanilla and sandal.

It was very nice moment to see that my daughter now has improved her decision making skills. She could spent a little more amount whatever she wanted to buy for her but she didn't. 

This shows that the choice is ours. whoever or whatever someone is suggesting you, it's our choice to choose something best or the one which is better.

Colourful candles are also special and I has fragrance too. It's good to see the corner with memories of her trip and the the thought that she has now grown up also makes me feel proud and happy.

The fragrance of potpourri not only keeps the corner fresh and good looking but keeps reminding her the moments she has shared with her friends.

Credit to Potters

It's Festive season in India

It's a time to help Potters. A great job of giving shape , carving utensils without thinking that my hands are becoming dirty, this is a profession of a potter we must respect.

A potter or a pottery maker is a craft artist who  makes dishes,pots,vase,mugs using their artistic talent. Sometimes they produce functional crafts, occasional crafts. It’s his hard work  and imagination who creates and turns a clay or mud into  beautiful final product .
How can we help them? It’s simple  by buying the things they are making in the particular season.

Why I purchased clay objects (toys)

I purchased few clay objects (toys) to decorate my Pooja ghar .(a place where we worship and pray god) It was a great feeling that buying these things I helped poor and needy people. These objects I purchased on Janmashtami, which we celebrate as Lord Krishna's birthday.😍😍

Though my children are grown up, me and my husband wanted to  replace old toys we brought a few this year and will add more toys in our collection.

This is the season ( Diwali) when in India we use to purchase diyas made up of clay. 

Coming to the main topic, I want to share you one thing that in India Diwali is known as a great Hindu  festival of lights which is celebrated throughout the country.

 Diwali or Deepawali means row ((avali) of lighted lamps (actually clay lamps made by Potters). We lit candles also but the beauty and importance of clay lamps no one can deny. I wish everyone  should buy the creative ‘diyas' or 'deepaks' from these pottery makers so that they can also turn their festival into a great and memorable event.

Praise others

 Why we should praise others?

It's a tendency of a human being that if someone is reaching or achieving heights they are jealous. What don't we appreciate others? Why don't we praise others? 

Praising is not only a beautiful complement you are offering but it's a kind of reward. A reward for which a person deserves.




It's not easy to praise someone for their good work. Whenever I see beautiful drawing or craft made by my collegues I always use to appriciate  their hardwork and ability to perform such a wonderful work.

When there is some beautiful drawing on the board, I don't want to erase  it.        Look at the drawing on the board below. When it's time to erase I really don't want to  erase. I think  someone has put a  lot of efforts to draw  it.

The credit goes to an art teacher when it comes to make practice and draw these animal characters in notebooks of small kids like grade 1. It's very difficult to explain how to draw step by step. Though children loves to draw it but one should have patience with them. 

Lift up others like a hot air balloon.

Let me share the other craft work which is a hot air balloon. I want you to lift up all possibilities of hope, friendship, clearity as it lifts up and carry high up in the sky.

Be open hearted. Don't keep a distance with your colleagues or friends but try to come to close and say "You did really well " ,"You deserve for this", " You are praiseworthy".

Saying this you know,you are winning someone's heart.

Being creative I always wanted to do something unique and different. When I started writing a blog I wanted to use some icon, Logo which can describe my webpage.

 Today I am happy to share the following Logo which I myself have designed which is at initial step without any technical help of a professional web designer.

Glare and the existence

Say Thanks to the glare which sometimes makes your face shine.😍😍😍😍

It's beautiful to see the glare behind money plant. The glare was not hurting my eyes. Though I now that it will not be there after some time . Sometimes the pleasure, the scene, the view will be for a limited time. 

After a dark night there will be sunshine in the morning, it's simple. I am going to tell you about ,''Glare" . The glare is a shine that hurts your eyes. Today  I found  it's not always hurting your eyes but sometimes it's pleasure  to see and observe. 

Here is an example of ice ,the pieces which are smaller will melt earlier and which are bigger will melt later. As long as it is in the form of ice it's solid will turn into liquid, at the same time the glare will not be there by the time sun sets. The existence of both,Ice and glare is for a certain period.

I just wanted to share these pictures to make it realise that the existence of glare is for short period.

The presenc of excessive light or reflection of light causes discomfort for our eyes. Some of the people says that glare is disadvantage of daylight that if unchecked reduces the level of visual comfort.

One more example let me share with you, in a classroom, if a child is not able to see the written work on the blackboard due to glare, we will not change the placing of the blackboard but the solution is change either the child's  place or shift his chair so that he/she can see it clearly.

Gift ...... which makes you happy

Gift - It's a matter of respect of someone's feelings.

It's all about sharing and caring when someone offers you a gift irrespective of the cost of the gift. Actually there should not be any kind of barrier or a condition while taking a gift from someone or at the time of giving it to someone .



If I want to make someone happy on a certain occasion, I don't think I need to spend a lot.  The bonding in a  person next to me and the  feelings and emotions I have for him/her matters a lot. This will be the real situation where I can judge how much love and respect they have  for me.



When we expect, something that is not fulfilled because of any reason
we get hurt. It's my  experience that receiving unexpectedly any gift multiples your joy and happiness.

The other pic. is a greeting card which has been given by my loving, cute small student as  for him , I am the best teacher. I can understand his feelings. I still remember the smile and happiness on his face when he said "This is for you ma'am, Happy Teacher's Day".
